  • The second paper titled below was also presented at the 98th annual meeting of the Transportation Research Board.

Real-Time Dynamic Traffic Control Based on Traffic State Estimation

  • An extension of the Cell Transmission model for heterogeneous (local) traffic developed at ATLAS was presented by Prof. Satish Ukkusuri at the 98th annual meeting of Transportation Research Board in Washington DC on 15 January 2019.

      4. ATLAS has obtained the academic licence of PTV Vissim, Vistro, Vissum and Viswalk

                     

 

      5. We have received generous support for computing facilities from Al-Kausar Foundation, for which we are thankful to them.

 

      6. The student chapter of the Institute of Transportation Engineers has been established at NED University under supervision of DIrector ATLAS, Dr Afzal Ahmed on                   6th June 2019.

 

      7. ITE-NEDUET and ATLAS organized an interactive session and technical workshop on ‘Karachi Mass Transit System’ on 18th December 2019.
